THE BLOOD DONOR FUN RUN 2015
Time: 7.00 am Date: 14 June 2015

The Blood Donors Fun Run 2015 is a charity event organize by Malaysia Blood Donors Society or Pertubuhan Penderma Darah Malaysia (Sedarah Malaysia) in conjunction with the celebration of World Blood Donor Day 2015.

The 5.2 Km Fun Run will be held on 14 June 2015 at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur. Participants are categorised as follow:

and email together with the payment slip or banking advice, blood donor are require to email the first page of the blood donation booklet to qualify for the special rate as blood donor.


EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

Special rates are available for Early bird registration:-
Blood Donor & Category E & F  : RM35
Non-Blood Donor : RM50
Early bird registration closed on 31.3.2015

COLLECTION OF RACE KIT:

 Dates for collection of race kit will be announce in the month of May 2015, and participants will be inform by email on the dates of collection.

Term and Conditions

Full information regarding Charity Run: ‘Blood Donor Fun Run 2015′

Date                                               : 14th June 2015 (Sunday) – 7.00AM
Starting / ending point                 : Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (Titiwangsa Lake Garden)
Closing date for entries                : 31st May 2015

Qualification   : Malaysian and Malaysia PR Holder ONLY


Runners’ Number
  • All participants will be given one piece of number printed cloth which will be pasted on front of the participant T-shirt .
  • All participants are required to wear the running number at all time during the race.
  • Only participants wearing the provided running number will be timed and included in the final run results.
  • Participant who does not wear the number tag will be disqualified.
  • Transfer of running number is not allowed and any substitution of participants must be with the consent of the organizer and they will not entitle to any prizes nor other entitlement and shall assume any risk at their own expenses.
Finisher Medal & Certificate of participation
  • Finisher Medal & Certificates of participation will only be given after the participants has completed the run.
  • All participants are required to claim the certificate on the day of the event itself.  Participants have to hand in their token number which was given by the organizing committee at the designated certificate counter.
Participant’s Compensation
  • Security measures for each participant are under the supervision of the organizers however the organizer is not responsible for the participant injury during the run.
  • Participants are encouraged to undergo medical check-up or consult a physician before joining this run.
Health Problem
  • If the participant has a sudden health problem on the day of the event, their participation will be cancel.
  • Participant that have health problem will be sent to the nearest health center or hospital.
Participant Insurance
  • The organiser of Blood Donor Fun Run 2013‘ will not protect the participants in terms of public liability insurance and personal accident insurance.
  • All risks and accidents involving participants in this race is the responsibility of himself or herself. The organizers will not be responsible for any loss involving bodily injury, property damage, whether personal or public, or any problems that arise during the program.
  • Participants are recommended to have their own personal accident insurance or health insurance.
Organizer’s rights
  • To limit or increase or decline participation.
  • If there is ambiguity in any provision, the organizer shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the organizer will take into account the interest of all participants.
  • If this program is cancelled due to the unpredicted causes which can harm the safety of those who are involve the organizer will not be responsible for the refunding of the participation fees and other related things submitted to the organizer unless the organizer feels that the claims made by the participants is relevant.
  • The organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone The Blood Donor Fun Run 2014 at any time and all the updates will be informed in the internet. If the event has to be postponed, there shall be no refund of fees paid and the organizer shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused. Any notices will be updated on the  Official Website.
  • The organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants who do not follow the rules during the program and no claims will be entertained.
  • The organizer reserves the right to use all materials, including photo, recording, or any other sources for commercial and other uses.
  • The organizer shall not be liable for any injury, accident, death or loss of property by the participant’s own negligence.
  • The Organizer reserve the right to modify or substitute any of these term and conditions from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of these provisions, the Organizer shall be the authority to interpret and in so doing, they will take into account the interests of all the affected Participants. Any amendments to the term and conditions will be updated on the Event  Official Website.
  • The organizer reserve the right to amend the Blood Donor Fun Run 2014  run routes as they deem for the safety of the participant and/or to prevent hazards in the running of the event, at any time.

In addition to adhering to the event’s term and conditions, participants will be required to abide to all local laws and customs while participating in the event.
